My purpose with Selah Consulting is to apply my extensive range of technical and relational experiences and fit it to the needs of my clients. My goal is that each of my clients are treated with respect and to provide a high-level of service that is rarely seen today. I am a PMP Certified IT professional with over 30 years’ of experience in software development, product management, SaaS platform implementation, coupled with a passion for servant leadership. I thrive in meeting or exceeding goals and objectives by developing relationships with people. I drive to efficiency by exploring ways to improve processes and procedures. I have been recognized professionally and personally as a mentor, respected team player, and reliable for large and complicated implementations. My experiences are over a wide breadth of roles, responsibilities, and industries. My career began as a programmer / analyst in the financial industry (VALIC) developing primarily in COBOL, JCL, and EZtrieve. In 1997 I took an opportunity to work in the car dealership industry (Dealer Solutions – now owned by ADP) where I could expand my skills into client/server development using PowerBuilder and SQL Server. It was during this time that I developed both in technical and leadership skills. Over the years at ADP, I transitioned to Team Lead, setting release schedules, managing testing cycles, and visiting client sites to implement our systems. I was laid off from ADP during the beginning of the financial crisis of 2008, and it was at this time I decided to pursue certification in Project Management (PMP). Soon after my PMP certification, I landed a position as IT Project Manager at Hines Interests, one of the largest privately owned real estate firms in the world. I led the project management of our in-house developed systems, built on the open-source platforms of Posgres, Python, and Django. Also, I led the implementation of several SaaS platforms such as Salesforce, Cornerstone (LMS), Cherwell (Help Desk System), as well as upgrading the company intranet to SharePoint 2010 and into O365. In March of 2020, I moved to Onit to a Senior Project Manager position, where I would manage the implementation of the Onit platform for Fortune 500 companies. I managed everything from the Project Kickoff, Requirements & Design (to determine customization needed for the client), Build & Configuration, QA testing, UAT testing, Go-live, Warranty Support, all the way to the transition to Onit Support. It was my time at Onit where I strengthened my reputation as being honest, calm, practical, respectful, and ideal to work with for both my Onit peers, as well as clients.
